Day 15: How you found out about them.
I used to hear All Time Low on the radio all the time and I really liked it, but I never bothered finding out much about the band that sang it. When I started college in September 2010 I took Media Studies. In that we studied the Heart Vacancy music video. I’ve probably seen the HV video over 200 times, and not just for academic purposes. I actually really loved the song, and of course it holds a special place in my heart, but it was the first time I had seen The Wanted’s faces and I recognised Max from Avenue. My friend and I were actually big fans of Avenue and Max was her favourite member.
Andy was mine but shh. So, anyway, we found out they were doing a signing for Heart Vacancy and decided to go meet them. We went up really early for wristbands on 21/10/10 and that was the best decision I think I’ve ever made. That was a really special day and the start of something huge in my life. After meeting the band and realising how absolutely lovely there were, I went home, listened to the rest of the album snippets, preordered the album, watched all of the flips, signed up to the mailer, and caught up on everything I possibly could. I was instantly in love. Since then they’ve become my favourite band, seen them live a lot, met them six times, met my best friends through them, travelled to places I’d never been to meet other fanmily members, and had some of the memories I hold dearest. It’s all thanks to them.

Day 8: Three things you like about Jay
I like Jay’s sense of humour. He’s so quick and so hilarious. I don’t know many people with humour as dirty as his and, I have to admit, I love it. I find it strangely endearing. I like his laugh/smile. I adore how his smile is wonky and his laugh is just the greatest thing I’ve ever heard. The fact I’ve actually made that sound come out of his mouth before just completes my life. It’s contagious and it makes me happy just hearing it. I love his curly hair. If any of you know me, you’ll know how much I love curly hair. It’s my ultimate weakness. I don’t know why I love it so much, I just do. And Jay has curly hair and I weep over it.
